MOHAMED ELAMIRI

Mohamed Elamiri has more than 42 years of civil aviation experience with the Moroccan Civil Aviation Administration, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the aviation industry.

He is currently a senior consultant with Loon, sister organization of Google and with ICAO. He is also a certified instructor with ICAO and IATA.

Since joining the ICAO Secretariat in 1998, he held the positions of Director of the Air Transport Bureau, Chief of the ICAO Safety and Security Audits Branch and finally Deputy Director of the Air Navigation Bureau responsible for Safety Management and Monitoring before retiring from the Organization in October 2014.

Prior to joining the ICAO Secretariat, he worked with the Government of Morocco for twenty years as Air transport Director and Permanent Representative of Morocco on the Council of ICAO.

Mr. Elamiri holds a Masters in Mathematics, a high level certificate in Management and an Engineering Diploma in Civil Aviation.

Mohamed Elamiri a plus de 42 ans d'expérience dans l'aviation civile avec l'administration marocaine de l'aviation civile, l'Organisation de l'Aviation Civile Internationale (OACI) et l'industrie aéronautique.

Il est actuellement consultant senior chez Loon, organisation sœur de Google et auprès de l'OACI. Il est également instructeur certifié auprès de l'OACI et de l'IATA.

Depuis son arrivée au Secrétariat de l'OACI en 1998, il a occupé les postes de directeur du Bureau du Transport Aérien, de Chef du Service des audits de sûreté et de sécurité de l'OACI et enfin de Directeur Adjoint du Bureau de la Navigation Aérienne responsable de la gestion et de la surveillance de la sécurité avant de prendre sa retraite de l'Organisation en Octobre 2014.

Avant de rejoindre le Secrétariat de l'OACI, il a travaillé avec le gouvernement du Maroc pendant vingt ans en tant que directeur du transport aérien et représentant permanent du Maroc au Conseil de l'OACI.

M. Elamiri est titulaire d'une maîtrise en mathématiques, d'un certificat de haut niveau en gestion et d'un diplôme d'ingénieur en aviation civile.
